With all the changes that are occurring around the Indian society, the change in lifestyle is remarkable. As a result, there is now a steady increase in the branded furniture sector, both for homes and offices, last year took a 20.6% increase in the sector. The sector represents a value of 6,174 million euros (3% of total retail), and has an organized sector of 7%. There is a big percentage, but most retail groups have created special divisions devoted to this sector.
The most prominent players in the organized sector are currently expected to grow by around 20% annual return over the next 4 years (very optimistic estimate). During the years 2008-2009 doubled the number of establishments for the sector.
